“So he departed thence, and found Elisha the son of Shaphat, who was plowing with twelve yoke of oxen before him, and he with the twelfth: and Elijah passed by him, and cast his mantle upon him.

God is looking for a vessel,He has casted His mantle upon you. The reason why this end time message is coming to you is for a purpose.

I want to tell you; you are not too young to be used by God neither are you too old to be used by God. You might have broken the heart of God in the past. But God is saying today, “I still have interest in you. I meant what I told you that day. All you need to do is to repent and get up from your falling.

Elijah was given to Israel as a prophet. A prophet that will preach and declare the mind of God. He was powerful, an anointed and empowered prophet. He was empowered by God to teach and reveal the mind of God to the nation of Israel.

He was highly favoured by God and unique among men. Everywhere Elijah went, he carried God. In short, he is a carrier of God. He was a great “wanted” to Jezebel.

Let me tell you something – The reason why the devil is so much interested in your life; the reason why he is interested in bringing you down is because of something unique that the Lord has deposited into your life.

The reason why he is trying to bring you down is because the manifestation of that thing the Lord has deposited into your life is going to scatter the kingdom of darkness; is going to set the captives free; is going to revive the nations.

The manifestation of that treasure is the depopulation of the devil’s kingdom. And he knows that when that thing manifests, his kingdom is in trouble; his assignment is in trouble, and his mission among men is in trouble.

As Elijah was a great “wanted” to Jezebel, you need to realize that there is a Jezebel looking for your downfall. And that Jezebel is not looking for anything but for your soul.

Why was Jezebel looking for Elijah? It is because Elijah slew the prophets of Baal – which were the prophets of Jezebel.

Now when we look at the life of Elijah, he stood for God in Israel. He destroyed the enemy of God and for this purpose the enemy was looking for him.

After many years of his prophetic ministry, he has just few years to spend in Israel and on earth before he will be taken to heaven by the chariot of fire.

This was not hidden from men but clearly exposed to all men. It may be that Elijah might have told them because when we read further in the second book of the kings, we saw that the sons of the prophets were telling Elisha, “Knowest thou that the Lord will take away thy master from thy head to day?”

God needed a vessel that will take over the office of Elijah. Listen carefully, “Do you know that the fathers are going? Who are going to take over their mantles?
